In many Moroccan homes the TV in the salon is not the only screen. There is often an Android box, a satellite receiver, a phone and maybe a laptop as well. IPTV can run on most of them, but each one uses a different player app. Checking your device first saves you from paying for something you cannot set up on the evening of a big match.

Send us three things

  • What it is: Smart TV, Android box, satellite receiver, Fire TV Stick, phone, tablet or computer.
  • The brand and exact model: “LG 43UR7300” helps us much more than “LG TV”.
  • The software version, if you can find it. If you cannot, that is fine.

Also tell us if the device is on Wi-Fi or plugged into the router with a cable, and the name of any IPTV app you already use.

Finding the model on each device

Menus differ from brand to brand, so use these as a guide rather than exact steps.

Smart TV (Samsung, LG and others)

Look in Settings for Support, About this TV or Device information. If the menu is hard to find, the model number is also on the sticker at the back of the TV.

Android TV box

Open Settings, then Device preferences or About. You will see the model and the Android version. Many boxes also have the model printed underneath.

Satellite receiver with an IPTV option

Some receivers sold in Morocco have an IPTV or “web TV” menu. Send us the brand and model from the front panel or the label underneath, plus the software version from the receiver’s Information menu. We will tell you honestly whether it is a good fit before you order.

Fire TV Stick

Go to Settings, then My Fire TV, then About.

Android phone or tablet

Open Settings and tap About phone (or About tablet).

iPhone or iPad

Open Settings, then General, then About.

Computer

On Windows: Settings, then System, then About. On a Mac: the Apple menu, then About This Mac.

If reading menus is a hassle, just take a photo of the About screen or the sticker and send it. That is usually enough.
